Unlike sites that pull text from a paid service, every reading here is computed on our own server from a small set of well-known factors. This page explains them in plain language.
1. The Moon's transit (Chandra Gochara)
The Moon changes sign roughly every 2.25 days. Its position relative to your birth sign is a classical indicator of the day's general mood, and it carries the most weight in the score.
2. The weekday lord
Each weekday is governed by a planet (Sunday–Sun, Monday–Moon, and so on). How that planet relates to your sign's ruler nudges the reading up or down.
3. The date number
The calendar date is reduced to a single digit and compared with your sign's friendly numbers — a light numerological touch.
4. The panchang
The tithi, nakshatra and the day's auspicious/inauspicious windows (Rahu Kaal, Abhijit Muhurat and the Choghadiya) are calculated astronomically for a reference location.
All of this is deterministic: the same date always produces the same reading. It is shared for cultural and entertainment interest, not as scientific fact.
